Shared Branch Banking
Shared Branch means you have free access to over 5,000 credit union branches across the nation. Walk into a shared branch credit union, give them your account number and show them current picture ID, and then you can make deposits, withdrawals, transfers, or get a cashier’s check just like you would in Spokane. (*ATMs at Shared Branches still charge a fee.)

CU Talk
This option is available when your computer(internet) is not. Call 1-800-860-5704 and enter our credit union access code of 118.
Enter your account number (2 zeros at the end) and your PIN from Online Banking.
The CU Talk menu will guide you through the steps to complete transactions like transferring between accounts, checking balances, and making loan payments.
Round-Up Service for Debit Card
Make saving effortless with our Round-Up Services for checking accounts.
Each time you make a purchase with your SMFCU debit card, we’ll round up the amount to the nearest dollar and transfer the difference into your savings account.
It’s an easy, automatic way to build your savings without even thinking about it.
Overdraft Protection Line of Credit (ODP)
Apply for an overdraft line of credit and never worry about your checking account running short again.
This service covers overdrafts or non-sufficient funds automatically.
You can select more than one account to fund overdrafts (your savings account, then your Visa Credit Card, etc.)

Visa Credit Cards

Our VISA card comes with a 12.9% fixed APR for both purchases and cash advances with a low annual fee of just $12.
No finance charges or late payment fees
You can make payments online through home banking and it will be posted to your account the very same day. You can also make payments by phone or in-person.

You can apply to link your Visa to your checking account for Overdraft Protection.

Checking Account $400 Courtesy Pay
Apply for Overdraft Courtesy Pay after your account is in good standing for 60 days.
You can overdraw an account by up to $400 but it has to be brought to current within 20 days and has to be current for 24 hours before using again
You pay $25 per item (max of $100 per day)
Notary Service
Notary services are free for members and $5.00 for non-members.
Valid ID is always required.
