Pandemic Letter For All

March 13, 2020

Dear Member,

As all of you are aware the World Health Organization has recently declared the Coronavirus a
pandemic. As a result, we are formulating our emergency preparedness in the event we are unable to
open the credit union for walk-in business. As a part of that preparedness we want to ensure you have
all the options available to access your accounts. Here are some recommendations:

HOME BANKING: Make sure your home banking log-in is accessible and up to date. Access home
banking via our website: smfcu.org and click on It’s Me 247 in the right-hand corner it will walk you
through logging on to home banking. Give us a call for any log-in issues.

MOBILE APP: Now is also the perfect time to download our Mobile App for your phone. Just search
‘Spokane Media FCU’ from your APP provider and select download.

DEBIT CARD: If you don’t have a debit card, which can be used to access your funds remotely, it might
be a good time to add this as well. Just give us a call if you would like to place an order for one.

REMOTE DEPOSIT CAPTURE: We also recommend that you sign up for “Remote Deposit Capture” if you
have not done so already, since this requires our approval prior to use. This allows you to take a picture
of your check and make your deposit on-line. You must have our Mobile APP to access this feature. On
the App utilize the paper airplane on the bottom of the App, “Move Money” click on Deposit Check and
it will walk you through signing up and then subsequently making a deposit. There is a video on how to
deposit a check remotely on our website bottom right corner.

All of these recommendations will help you be better prepared in the event you are not able to
personally visit us or a shared branching location directly. Please call if you need any financial assistance
or have any questions (509) 838-8960.

The Staff and Board will continue to communicate and address any complications that might arise from
this widespread outbreak. Our focus will always be keeping you informed, your account accessible and
to avoid any unnecessary disruptions to your financial needs.
